The Chemistry Department at Government Degree College for Women, Srikalahasti was established in 1999. The Department of Chemistry at the Women’s Degree College is a dynamic and integral part of the institution, committed to academic excellence, innovation, and the empowerment of women in the field of science. Established with the vision of nurturing curiosity and scientific temper among young women, the department provides a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry. Our department offers undergraduate programs in Chemistry as part of the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. The curriculum is designed to provide a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing students for diverse career paths in education, research, industry, and public service.
