ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Telugu, established in 1988, offers Telugu as second language in undergraduate programs. The faculty comprises renowned scholars and research supervisor who foster academic excellence. The department organizes literary events, including Avadhanas, Seminars, Kavi sammelanas and featuring eminent poets and personalities. The Department strives to promote Telugu language and literature through innovative teaching methods and extracurricular activities, enhancing students' language competence and cultural appreciation.
