“If a woman is educated, the whole family is educated” Govt. Degree College for women, Srikalahasthi, Andhra Pradesh, holds the beacon light for imparting value education to the women students hail from the economically and socially backward families.
The college is one of the three Govt. Degree colleges for women in Chittoor District.the college got UGC recognition on 29-07-2004 after inclusion under 2(F) & 12(B).Presently, it offers Seven UG Courses and Two P.G Courses.
Moreover, the college has been assessed and accredited by NAAC at B+ level in September, 2019.Apart from the routine teaching, the students are encouraged to do meditation to overcome the onus of the stress and pressure in their studies and day to day activities.
